Abbie Steele is a former scholarship winner at Razzamataz Penrith. After finishing school, she gained a place on the University of Worcester’s BA Drama and Performance degree programme.
Since graduating she has played different roles in various projects around the UK, the most recent being a selected participant for a master class on Peking Opera held at the Theatre Royal Haymarket, London, a staff nurse in an NHS Training film and a presenter for Japanese TV programme Niji Iro Jean.
She is currently taking vocal tuition with opera singer Penelope Randall-Davis and actor training with coach Michael Duvall. She has worked with the Actors Studio of Pinewood Studios both as an actress and admin team worker. With her skills and experience acquired in performance, she has had success in fashion and runway modelling, featuring in Karl Bowman England shows, Nelson Brown and Newcastle Fashion week, where she was also the face of Newcastle Fashion Week 2013 official T-Shirt promotion.
Abbie hopes very much to keep the two professions of acting and modelling working together.
