A passionate performer since childhood, Abbie Steele is an award winning actress based in London, UK where she is pursuing a career focused both on stage and screen. Abbie, who is originally from a farming family in Cumbria, won a scholarship with Razzamataz Theatre Schools in 2008, before gaining a BA (Hons) in Drama and Performance Studies at the University of Worcester where she went on to do work experience with Tim Kent at The Actors Studio, Pinewood Studios. It was during her time at Pinewood that Abbie fell in love with screen acting. In 2013 she moved to London to pursue her training with New York acting coach, Michael Duvall, founder of Instinctual Acting. Abbie continues to attend weekly workshops and one to one sessions while gaining valuable experience in the industry.
In 2015 Abbie played the supporting role of Amy, in Greenway Entertainment’s film Essex Boys: Law of Survival which was released into various cinemas across the UK and sold on DVD internationally. In 2019 she starred alongside fellow Instinctual Acting actors Isaac Money and Luke Christian playing leading role, Charlotte, in Guildhall Pictures thriller The Passenger which is currently available on Amazon Prime, Apple TV, i-Tunes and Google Play Services in the UK & Ireland, Canada and the USA.
THE PASSENGER
In 2020 Abbie was cast in Saints and Savages film The Bezonians starring Vinnie Jones and Marina Sirtis and their 2021 films The Phantom Warrior and The Abomination. The 2021 films are currently in post-production. The Bezonians is due for cinematic release in 2022.
In September, 2020 Abbie launched her own production company called Awakening Dreams Productions. The company has launched a web series called The Feminine Wiles Anthology and the first episode Collateral Damage is now available to watch online The Feminine Wiles Anthology – Episode 1: Collateral Damage The next Episode Political Ambition in which she plays MP Tiffany Harrington-Smythe is currently in post-production.
Abbie also starred in the Award Winning film noir Incriminating Mary in which she plays Mary Blackwood, a sufferer of Dissociative Identity Disorder, who thinks her alter ego is that of Marilyn Monroe. The film has won numerous awards including a Best Lead Actress award for Abbie at the Toronto Short Film Channel Festival, 2020, and was nominated for a number of awards at various other international festivals.

Abbie also won a further Best Actress award at The Monthly Film Festival for her performance as Meredith in short film The Morning After which has won numerous awards and been further nominated in various international film festivals.
As well as acting, Abbie is passionate about wellness and self-development and has a page dedicated to her journey and recommendations – Wellness. She is also an animal lover and can usually be found exploring somewhere in nature. Not one for being cooped up inside all day, she is a real outdoors person and loves going on long walks with her dogs as well as helping her family with daily chores out in the fields and on the farm.
